Unlikely to happen buut not illegal. I had a gig for about six months in a 67mph truck that was 4100 a week in 6 days. Drop and hook both ends. Doable but not realistic in the general freight world.

 

Aobrd means you can paper log. But if that truck is 67mph governed it's going to be fun trying for 4100+ miles per week. Especially if it's North south lanes. I do 4000 miles per week and it's tough. And it's half deadhead.

 

Just called did not get the name but the guy sounded English, yet kind of a jerk. Said only want drivers from Chicago area. And elog only.

 

I called on of these Eastern euros about 5-6 yrs. ago.
Just to ask some questions, The guy with a heavy accent finally told me "This job not for you, You ask too many questions" And hung up on me. lol

 

Real funny how these companies advertise.. "AOBRD (PAPER LOGS)"... morons, just opening yourself up to a real can of whoop ### from the DOT. This advertisement is pretty much implying, run hard and cheat. Do companies not think anymore?

You wont see this company around in 2 years.

 

It doesn’t mean they want you to really cheat and drive 23 hours a day.
It just means if they’re 10 miles from home and run
out of hours they can drive on home and someone will fix their logs.
Imagine having to stay at a truckstop 10 miles from home?
