I have a disc brake on mine
and yes, it really is mine, I bought it, I paid for it (and i never let it out of my sight). (and I painted it pink so no one would steal it)

When you're doing the work and making good money why not spend a little on good tools for yourself?

Two discs? We’ve had a lot of failures. Bottom ends get changed out for drums.

I wish I made that kind of money

I'll eventually move my way into a food distribution position. I have a few options around here, wood fruiticher, merchants, and sysco

Tuesday is my first day with performance food service. I must say I'm pretty excited even though I know it will be a week or so before I get out on the road.

I was gonna do a local fri night and finish off the week with a 2k gross. Chill over the weekend and watch the SB and roll out Sun night on a out of town route I’ve been running. Wake up fri to start get ready and find out I’ve been changed to a 2 day out of town route for the weekend. The guy on this route called off to watch the SB most likely.

Luckily I’ve done this route and it’s pretty chill route. A lot of driving. Senior driver route also highest paying. I don’t care too much for the SB this year so I didn’t mind.

Well I’ve hit a trucking or even a life career high. Calculated my week to $2676 gross for the week. Now this isn’t an every week thing just happened like that. I do know people here making 100k+ and this proves it can happen. It took 6 days of work though not 4 I normally work.

Pretty stoked since I shelled out 3500 in taxes and registration for my car I bought. So helped recoop some of it. Dang CO taxes freaking expensive.

How can you tell when a beverage or food distribution job isn't for you. Im seriously considering applying to the local coke position because they have help on their trucks

I am an over the road long haul driver; but am helping out on our local daycab Caito foods account for about 6 weeks while my engine on my truck is being rebuilt under warranty.. it’s not been bad, but I can’t really do the smaller local produce deliveries because I’m an old lady and I have a really hard time hand unloading the huge bags of onions, potatoes and such! I couldn’t even reach the pull strap on the roll back trailer when the darn thing swung all the way up! I’m so darn short! So; I now do the Walmart’s and larger grocery store deliveries..they pull the back door back down from the roof for me... Lol!
