Finally stopped up here in Flint. Now I get to start working at my new job in the morning before the sun comes up to clear off the black ice.
At least I don't have to worry about the kiddo and wife. They both had school canceled (wife is a teacher)

    Justrucking2 Thanks this.

That area has a high% of trucks governed at 65mph going to and from Canada .. posted is 60 and everyone wants to run on the limiter till they see the fuzz then they bunch up.. Poor conditions are common so they just drive like it's normal and all goes well most of the time till someone messes up... I refuse to hang around the packs when I drive due to most not having a clue about the vehicle dynamics of what they are driving

    allniter and Justrucking2 Thank this.

Spot on, they all bunch up due to speed limiters and then the carnage happens, and they all wonder why? I hate running in a pack, a rolling accident waiting to happen, and in bad weather, it normally does, especially on I-94 West of Kalamazoo.

    magoo68 and mjd4277 Thank this.

Oh I know! LOL! I'm not governed and when down that way I normally only have a few skids in the wagon, I put the hammer down and pass, really ticks them off. ;-)
