Radio spot says freight rate are up. Bring your truck so you can search, click and go on choice.

Reading here, doesn't sound like rates are up on the board.

I don't see an increase, except in fuel prices. Wow over 3.00 a gallon and close to 3.90 in NE

No not at all no increase from what my friends say.. I hear the discount is 22 cent meanwhile the rates haven't moved.. So ICs are seeing a profit loss of $100-$150 a week

Roothog, how do you like OOIDA insurance? OOIDA has by far been the cheapest quote for me. Any problems with brokers not accepting OOIDA?

There is s small list of brokers that don’t take OOIDA insurance. OOIDA will provide you with the exact list.

For the most part, it is brokers dealing primarily with flatbed loads, or brokers that require things that no carrier in their right mind would sign off on.

For me, I don’t look at the list and it had never been a problem for me yet.

Did I read somewhere that Landstar won't take OOIDA insurance because they got sued by them?

You can't broker Landstar loads if you have you're own authority & insurance from OOIDA.

It’s on an agent by agent basis. Landstar agents are able to accept OOIDA insurance, but some refuse.

I’ve had a few lanstar agents already reach out to me to haul loads. Insurance wasn’t an issue, only issue was I have yet to agree to any of their rates.
