Does DOT allow you to be over weight on any axles or gross for a reefer? For the reefer engine and reefer fuel?

    Steel Dragon Thanks this.

No. And if some shipper is trying to tell that it's okay to go with an overload, tell him that you can't do it.

    No.

    80,000

then the next set of numbers...

    12K, 34K, 34K = 80000.

    You get nothing over.

What you will get is tickets for being over on either axle or gross or both.

It is very important to fill all of your fuel, toss the spouse and stuff into that tractor and then CAT the whole thing.

That is your tare weight. Subtract from 80000 and you will know exactly what you can put into the box legally. (Minus ICE....)

Anything else get back to us.

Zeviander, Steel Dragon and Jdm5jdm5 Thank this.

Unless you have an APU, type of freight makes no difference. And the APU allowance is state by state, some have no tolerance.

If you believe that. I have a bridge in Brooklyn I’d like to sell you.

One of the bridges were actually built by out of work soldiers on both sides who survived Gettysburg as a large public improvement type project. Took about 15 years I believe. Brick at a time by hand.

WesternPlains and Steel Dragon Thank this.
