Indeed. That's what I was touching on in my previous post about proportions in regards to the CSA scores on SaferWeb. UPS is probably slightly more dangerous than Mercer according the statistics but because they have the volume it's all good according to DOT.

People are really dead, and companies are still really favored in inspections and for business. This brain dead culture really does test your patience

The 100% legal solution is just log drop 3 mins, than when done loading or unloading, log re hook 4mins, and you shaved 8 mins of your on duty.

 

Everybody complains about not giving trucks enough room. Well that double needed some room. No big deal Scotty just avoided a big insurance mess. And it only cost everyone 10 seconds.

As far as i know, every state does this regularly and the results of those on site inflections directly equates to how often that company gets pulled in for random inspections.

It's really no different than getting the attaboy sticker after passing a level 1. While it doesn't guaranty you won't be pulled around back, it greatly reduces the chance of it happening.
