I've been all over the world and to Guam a few times with the Air Force. I honestly don't think I've ever been anywhere that is as humid as it is there. When that door opens on an air conditioned airplane and that humidity hits you in the face for the first time it takes your breath away for a minute.

    Have fun!:D

SAR, Oxbow, Short Fuse EOD and 2 others Thank this.

I was going to call it the sweaty, unwashed, cheese covered .... sack of the south Pacific, but I figured that would be overstating it

    Crusader66 Thanks this.

True, but when they are looking for someone to put on a new run that pays really well, you'll be first in line for the job. I've been getting that stuff for the past little while and while yeah, it's hard to push sometimes, but coming through for them when it counts always ends up looking good for you.

Oxbow, Crusader66 and Gunner75 Thank this.

Perhaps, but I’ve found that this has a funny way of opening the door for favoritism and the usual subsequent catering to someone’s pet driver at your expense.

When you start at a new company, it's always good to learn early whether being the go to guy will get you good things it if it will get you dumped on repeatedly because they know you can take it.

    Zeviander Thanks this.
