Best company that hires drivers out of Minnesota and or best schools?

    You mentioned working for a lumber company, so I thought you want flatbed.
    You'd be better off with a reefer outfit. or dry van with CFI.

    I did mention trying to contact that lumber company to see how much tarping they do and to see if they'd be interested in hiring me. But I'd imagine they do alot of taping so I think I rather be safe than sorry and just hold off on flatbed for now.

    Adding to what Truckermania mentioned, I just finished the “Driver Finishing Program” at Britton Transport not long ago. I got my CDL from the Tech school near me. Used student loans to pay for it as I was straight broke too. And once you have that cdl, the company will take you on if you pass all the standard checks.
