Well congratulation to getting your cdl.
At this point, any trucking job is better than no job. my recommendation is SRT out of Texarkana AR, dispite what is said here. You can easily make 1000 per week after training on their program.

Hey Team,
I got my CDL Monday (2/12/18). I have been doing a lot of research and there are plenty of companies offering training and some even offer tuition reimbursement.
I am looking for recommendations for which companies (outside of Millis who only hire their own students) have what are considered the top training programs. At 66 years old, I do not have a lot of time to experiment working for different companies and want to make a good choice, not pick one and find it doesn't measure up.
A good training program without a longevity contract would be better still
Thanks.Chinatown Thanks this. -

If they have a good reputation for training then I may be good to go.

Hi guys, I should have mentioned this earlier. I need companies that will hire me and train me here within 60 miles of Los Angeles. I noticed all the big companies are all the way in Fontana?

There's some guy in Los Angeles that owns a trucking school and I've heard he also owns a trucking company. Call and see what the deal is: Khan D' Kulia Trucking School.Last edited: Feb 15, 2018
