You’re wrong about that too. Most gliders don’t cost less. It’s not about purchase price. But you wouldn’t understand. It’s ok it’s not for everyone.

So you know where I went to high school, but do not know my name or where I'm from.

Lol...Ok ok ok....you claim to be well versed in used engines, transmissions, rearends and the illl effect of gliders to the world. I'll go ahead and post proof of your misguided ideas that are hilarious. We tried to take you serious until this....

    I've rebuilt a few engines.
Ive come across all kinds of damage that happens in an engines life.
I've seen all kinds of shortcuts shops take on a rebuild.
They crank them out and hope they never see them again.
    New vs remanufactured...lol

I'll take a reman engine over new anyday.
A lot of times they have all the latest updates out for it installed.
No new engine teething to deal with.

Also the block and head have already been stress relived . Combined with all new line bored and deck machined in my eyes it is better then new.
All electronics wiring and sensors , ecm are new also.. Detroit diesel reman they don't take short cuts.
I've been around long enough to see lots NEW engines have there share issues, some so bad, guys almost go bankrupt.

Is why you use a shop you trust ...my main mechanic live down the street from me our wives know each other and he counts on my business every month ....my cat house is also local and I trust him no one else touch my truck outside of an emergency just saying ....if you don't have a shop you trust you are better off taking your money and playing black jack better odds there

Yeah but remember, an overhaul or reman is only as good as the guy that builds it anyways. If you're good and do it right, it's just as good as new.

How bout them new parts from China and Mexico, c'mon!

What about the 50x increase in harmful emissions coming out of the exhaust? Nobody cares that these preemissions motors are big contributors to pollution?

Is it me, or isn't that a very high failure rate? 3 out of 5 trucks needing warranty work done....
