I’m just so glad that I don’t have to deal with an ELD anymore. I can do my job without worrying about what line I’m on. No ELD or logbook for 200 mile radius. WooHoo!!!

    Yep.....just finished it myself.
Honestly, it's not THAT big of a change aside from the 5 mph thing. But for me, it wasn't that big of a deal.

The other thing that will catch a lot of folks is, if you take your truck to the shop and leave it, and they test drive it, it goes as drive time and the folks in GB can't fix it. ....you just gotta suck it up. BUT, if you drop it off and log off the device, you'll be fine. It'll be a learning curve for a few folks thinking they got a reset in the shop, only to discover that they forgot to log off and the shop did a test drive. LOL..
But, it's really not that big of a deal, in my opinion.

In 2015 at orientation, they said to log off oi dropping truck for maintenance so that's something people should be doing anyways.

I really like where I work. But if it comes a time I cant make my desired income because of this elog mandate, they will have to pony up some more cash or I will have to move on. My family isnt gonna suffer because these companies refuse to oppose "big brother government".

I'm not allowed to tell you. I've been warned about letting real life into the forum.
