I hate to even say this,but I believe love's might
Pull the old bait and switch on us.
Their sucking in every company and the drivers
With the cheap fuel and rewards program.

At the same time their prices are way cheaper on
Just about everything in the store than the other chains.
They stay jam packed.

All the while buying up every piece of dirt and opening
More truck stops than all the rest combined.
While the petro and pilot sit on their laurels,they're
Being Blown away by the amount of new loves going up.
Seems like everyday I pass another new one.

I hope I'm wrong,but I think they're gonna buy out
Or drive both of them out of business.
Then double the prices when they crushed the competition.

 

I'll happily pay for a spot or two if I'm oversize. I'm reimbursed for it, and if it means im not taking up 2 unpaid spots and leaving you swift drivers attempting to back in the reduced space and then hitting my load, that keeps me from going to jail after I beat the ever living dog #### out of you

 

lol, I hear ya,But be realistic, This isn't the 70's or 80's anymore..Where we could Slap someone around or Give some one a Fat Lip for their stuipidity

If a Swifty hits your OD load.....Verbally punish him, Then Embarrass his company thoroughly when you call out their adjuster- Make Light of a Bad situation.

 

I am being realistic. Hitting my load, even as a company driver, takes money from my family. I will go off, and have gone off.

 

I'm sure you will and have- Just not Physically,,,Not these days anyway
Cause If you have- You'd be monitored right now via your ankle- Or you'd still be in the Clink.

Not physically...yet. But I've gotten so deep in another drivers ### that he called the cops worried I was going to get physical

 

its called capitalism, i thought most truckers loved them some good ol fashioned capitalism lol

 

Why would you ever fuel at Petro when fuel is 10 cents per gallon cheaper at Effingham Chrome Shop right across the street?
