Probably not everything, like there's a trick for picking up heavy bins.

Yeah I’ve seen a couple of those videos I would probably have a heart attack if I haven’t seen it before and I was out on the road and the cab lifted that high lol

You can keep the cab (front axle on the ground).
Back up to the can frame raised line up the rails, connect the cable, get back in the cab release the brakes as the truck is pulled under the box keep adjusting the rails until most of the rails are under the box when the box is off the ground set the brakes and pull it into place, the front end is kept on the ground

While @Powder Joints is being serious and helpful (thanks!), my evil first thought was "Well, at least you'll never be out of work hauling trash in D.C." :)

    RockinChair and Mike2633 Thank this.

Been working for a sub-contractor to them for over two years......exactly
how it is here. Constant infighting between departments........drivers getting
mad and reporting each other for every little thing.

From what I have seen the only way to survive is to not care about
    anything. Give you a junk truck--drive it.......truck breaks down------call
truck service.....etc. Trucks break down all the time......maintenance is
a bunch of college educated douche bags that don't know one end of
    a truck from the other.

Seriously......the job is not that bad......but WM is not a good company
    at all.

    Mike2633 Thanks this.

What ever you do, never, ever talk back. Manager mouths off just
clamp your mouth shut and move on. You have to learn to ignore all
the xxxeatings you will get. The management is always right.

If you can survive for a couple years......keep your nose clean......it is
not to bad. Till they hire another manager and than you have to start all
    over again.
