Thanks, and I'd be happy to give you that information so you could make a decision. I haven't posted enough for the system to allow me to send you a PM (unless there's another way I don't know about ...). If we decide we'd still like to find someone to quote, I'll try to figure out another way to reach you with the information you need to make a decision. It's definitely been interesting to follow the conversation and the discussion.

People with apnea severe enough to need a cpap know they have a problem before they talk to their doctor. Mine is severe and i only weighed 180 pounds when diagnosed. Also it started after my trachea collapsed during surgery. I cant breath laying flat on my back even if im awake.
I think they just saw dollar signs from insurance companies and never expected much grief. If you decide to get tested, do it through your own doctor at a test facility you both agree on.Pumpkin Oval Head and x1Heavy Thank this. -
Let me ask you this out of curiosity... how hard is it to slap and sew a plastic replacement in there? -

I tell you what. Anyone wiring me shut for a few weeks is going to be beaten with a steak.
Now I see some of the difficulty. I appreciate that information.
With that out of the way, what if anything do "They" talk about doing to you? -
x1Heavy Thanks this.

Surgery is more invasive than using a cpap machine...and I am unwilling to have surgery at this point. I am not a fan of throat surgery, as you can tell. -
