§ 658.16 Exclusions from length and width determinations.
(2) All non-property-carrying devices, or components thereof -
(ii) That do not extend more than 3 inches beyond each side or the rear of the vehicle
hmm so would the hydraulic upper bed lift cylinders be considered a "property carry device"? If so would it not be considered "property carrying" that when the lift is not activated and the top bed rests on the bottom? -
A hydraulic cylinder IS property carrying as far as I can see.
But I would love to hear the argument that the hydraulics DON'T carry property. -
