School shooting in Parkland, FL.

AR15 is nice. But it's not my flavor. I try not to get emotional over a discussion. I might roar, I might pound the table I might tell stories bordering on lunch counter, but it's theatrical with a grain of truth. Somewhere in a large Shrink Doctor's office lists a book that holds my condition in it somewhere under a large label.

The police 5615 would be what gets me going. Shotgun rounds in a 10 round magazine.

But the KSG offers so much promise with it's 15 rounds stack in two rows. One row could be slugs short and the other can be the old Dixie Cutters, a huge .69 to .72 caliber ball bearing backed by 6 to 9 more .50 cal ball bearings behind it. A man gets hit by one of those, the very bone crumbles to powder and dust that requires amputation as it did in the Civil War.

A masterkey set up would be another. Provided the barrel is at least 7.62 mm.

 

For these kids that are playing games with bomb and shooting threats. I hope they realize that terroristic threats are taken very serious after Sept 11th.

That's all well and good, but once they start cracking down on kids and adults saying stupid crap where it can be documented or confirmed, wether it's was a joke or not, then soon, the truly dangerous people will just go "silent" to avoid early detection. This sort of incident in this story will just snare the dumb-azzes (and that's a good thing, too. Don't misunderstand), but not necessarily the dangerous ones that we all should be worried about.

Sociopaths are "smart" to the extent they can quickly react to change and adapt if they have a long-term plan that requires them to further develop and prepare.

I'm far from worried about the idiots that pot stupid stuff on the social media outlets.

Listening to the talk radio today, the host had an interesting topic. Morality in schools. Seems to me that we are SERIOUSLY lacking morality anymore. How many of these kids are taught basic right from wrong anymore.
We could really do with some basic morals being taught in schools and AT HOME. We need to get back to basic discipline in schools as well.
Today, kids can get away with almost anything, merely by threatening to call CPS, if the parents or teachers punish misbehaving students.

Another idea that came up, in the vane of arming Teachers or Guards in Schools. Start with getting rid of these inane signs that tell the world WE as a SCHOOL are a soft target. Instead post that teachers\guards are armed and trained to use force. Lets get this started at least.
