You don't have to pay anything to the company up front and you start getting paid from the first day of orientation. Trainees get a flat rate daily pay I think it's about $75 per day. That increases in the different training phases up to $100 per day. I was given my own truck before I got to that rate though.Kwan23 Thanks this. -
I'm still here because I don't think I can do better at another 48 state OTR company. Others may pay more per mile, but may not have as many miles...or you have to drive a ratty old truck...or do flatbed or whatever else I have seen and don't like.Kwan23 Thanks this. -
thank you i think im going to go with abilene or millis

Millis is 500 upfront, if you’re a veteran, it’s another 500 at 100 per week. If you’re not it’s another 2000, 100 per week while training, and I believe 30 per week once you’re out on your own.
The .42 cpm while training is great pay.
My first 2 weeks were over 2500 miles, wanted more but the trainer doesn’t want more miles than that, so I’m stuck there til on my own..Kwan23 Thanks this. -
I just noticed that you are in TX. We do hire from TX and have loads going there all the time, but there was a driver here from TX who seemed to have trouble getting home on time though. I've never had an issue, but then I stay out 2 months minimum. Things might be different if I tried to get home every other week.Kwan23 Thanks this.
