Hello all! We are conducting a survey as part of a research project, in which Volvo Cars and Volvo Trucks are part of. This survey investigates driving habits and behaviors in motor vehicles, either with or without advanced driver assistance. We hope you can spare 5-7 minutes by answering some questions. Your answers will be part of an exciting project meant to benefit future motor vehicles!

    The survey: Driving habits

I don't do exciting surveys. And don't know who this we is.

Volvo is going to build what they will spend to build. Not a dollar more. Expecting to double it at retail if at all possible.

It has been my experience that surveys result in other unintended situations in the phone, mail and television advertising. Particularly when identifying or addresses are given out. I have never visited this survey so I have no way of knowing if that is the case here or not. Which is why I use the word Generally, and expect a number of people to reply to me saying no they (Who is this we? Who is this |"They...") do not use addresses, iding information etc. I say to these, wonderful go ahead and do the survey for me. You can fill in whatever you like.

    I hate to be difficult.

Surveys are not accurate. You want to learn trucking? Talk to the drivers and settle in for some story telling. Maybe even a ride and a demonstration of what it takes to get a load on, delivered etc. We are gone for weeks. If not months. I once did 6 months on the gulf coast. Mostly sun and rain. And the women.. whoo. But it was a fun 6 months that year because old man winter ravaged the rest of the USA.

Anyway, That's enough picking on the survey stuff. If I wanted survey I'll watch the old reruns of Family Feud.

i am sorry, but to me, surveys are like fake news.

many people fill out a survey simply because they have no actual knowledge of a product, idea, etc, and think that thier input will be adhered to.

Wow! Asking drivers of if they are browsing the web or interacting on social media sites??? You have the wrong idea about driving in the USA.

We are a group of master's students, part of an ongoing research effort in collaboration with, as mentioned, Volvo, as well as Semcon and RISE Viktoria. The project is called SEER (Seamless, Efficient and Enjoyable user-vehicle inteRaction), aiming to increase our knowledge in the field of secondary tasks during low-level automation in motor vehicles (read more here: SEER - Seamless, Efficient and Enjoyable user-vehicle inteRaction | RISE Viktoria).

I guess you already know that Volvo cars and Volvo trucks are made by two different, unrelated companies
