    Best advice not given..............

    1) Where do you want to be in 3 years as a professional truck driver?
1a) Got something in mind? Keep your eye on that mark, write it down if you need to, and never take your eye off of it throughout all the adversity that goes with the first few years of trucking, and you will get there.
1b) Do not jump around from job to job ( See 1a, good companies want to see a stable history.).
1c) Do not F up your driving record ( See 1a, don't let some schnook talk you into something while you're working for peanuts, that's going to keep the door closed to that good job.).

Truckermania, Dan.S, Rollr4872 and 2 others Thank this.

Always wipe your ### & wash your hands.

    Say 'please' & 'thank you'.

And don't pick up the girls who are 'lookin' for a lil help'..... you're the lil help and should be insulted by such an inaccurate reflection of how much help you truly are.

The lives of friends and families don't just stop cause you are on the road. Lives continue, family functions, funerals will happen with or without you.

    You better not mind paying.

If I was to get together with someone who is very high class and expensive, I would not begrudge the few dollars of additional annoying charges that add up. The strong drink, Smokes, Protection, taxi, food, this and that and a whole bunch of other things to make a Appt happen.

Oh wait, that's the dispatcher and the receiver for that load of apples I have on. I think about something else entirely. But that's ok, give me a minute to make new adjustments mentally. Making allowances for Robbing Atlanta at night where we are going.
