Still better than 2004 and before according to the graph. They're working on explaining it through rigorous scientific testing, give it a bit of time and I'm sure it won't agree with anything you seem to believe.

Doesn't seem to be enough scientific data on either side to prove how climate actually changes over time. They can't even get weather forecast for the next day correct. Just all guesses and opinions. Think we are going to have to agree to disagree on this one.

One thing that tends to he overlooked is the heat island effect and the way it effects the overall temperature
Cities are warmer than rural areas
You've got all all the pavement (doesn't allow the ground to absorb the heat from the sun) and all the lights (constantly giving off heat)
Just look at some statewide temp maps metro areas are 1-2 degrees warmer
They tend to overlook this because they like their paved and well lit bike trails, sidewalks and streets.
