Only place I went for IRT that was driver unload was Blue Bunny in Iowa. Told them wasn't my job ti unload it, they got some of the local haulers to do it. Found out they didn't unload till after I got there. Other than that all no touch.

 

I’m scheduled for orientation next Wednesday. I recently moved to the Tampa area so I’ll be out of the Winter Haven terminal. Thanks for the very useful information in this thread. It answered a lot of questions I had.

Where do we load juice out of Newark, NJ? I’m getting the tank washed at OJ’s and picking up juice in Newark.

How is it for loading? Difficult to get to? I’m new to all of this port stuff. Lol

 

It’s pretty easy to get to from ojs, I remember their being 2 places they would load out of both were really easy, you would be loaded while your on the scale , wait times always varied

 

Thanks for the info. May not be getting loaded today. I’m up in Connecticut. Troopers are turning empty trucks back into the truck stop. Roads must be getting interesting.

 

They called me this morning. Wanting me to get tank washed and want me to do these basically shuttles from Newark to Flemington. Don’t like the sound of that.

 

Yea did them before , it’s ok if you can do more then 2 but it never seems to work out , traffic wise getting and empty at Johanna then going back to load.
I’d tell them your not a local driver but that’s just me .
