So I’ve lost a placard, the 2902 with a 6, and a x bone, I can’t find one like it anywhere, what do I do
-
Id buy any placard and a black sharpie.
Use the biank side of the placard and draw a new one.
Get your self some placard protecters for the future.
There just clear plastic and the slide over your placards.
I have about 20 of them. They give them to us at work.
They work great.ChicagoJohn and 19d Thank this. -

So I told dispatch I needed off 15-18, so I can get my daughter who I haven’t seen since Xmas, I told them this when I first came into talk about getting hired. Was told no problem.. The response I got was do you have any vacation time or something. I might be parking this ####ing truck and telling them to kiss my white ###. If I say I needoff that should be all needed . Don’t be asking me why and ####

Technically you don’t have any vacation days until 1 year in. I do believe you have some personal days. It shouldn’t be a problem to get that time off unpaid. Go to Mac if you have to. Hell you just worked through a weekend and that’s only 2 weekends off.
I have had to draw placards before. Next break at a terminal look for some plastic inserts on the empty trailers and grab a set for your truck. That’s where most of them went anyway. -
I'm really starting to think my dedicated customer has fired all the knowledgeable people and replaced them with special needs folks. Showed up yesterday morning to deliver and tank was still at the level I left them the day before. No problem, I'm only 5 hours from home, so dispatcher says take it home, we'll pay the out of route miles. Call this morning and was told they were running production and they'll have room at 13:00, so I left around . 10:00. Got down here at 15:00 only to find out they are just setting up the production line. So I'm chilling till the morning. Someone is going to lose their mind when they see the bill.
slim shady Thanks this. -
Question for you tanker yankers. I spoke with Superior recruiter yesterday and they don't allow passengers. Do you know if Schneiders allows passengers? I'm thinking with hazmat and all it may be a no go. I'm married with four kids and would like to take one at a time on trips with me for some Daddy time. Plus when the kids are gone I'd like the wife on the road with me. Maybe she'll have to get her CDL and team up with me. Thanks for the info.
