YRC did not take long with me, but I don't know what steps they took. There is the initial app, then a second step where you log back in to authorise the background. If you did that it likely won't be long.

I did the initial application, had my face to face and was hired on the spot by the TM on Thursday and he wanted me to start Monday. I asked "what about the drug test etc?) Apparently he thought I had already done that, so he had to call corporate and they sent the link to page where you sign off on the background etc. Who knows lol

I've experienced uneven responses. Some of their recruiting people in Overland Park have other jobs in other buildings and do recruiting in addition to help them fill in.
Try the recruiting number. And try logging in to your account to see if there are items pending, they may have forgotten to notify you or the email got lost.
If they ghost you, it's their loss.TheyCallMeDave Thanks this. -

One thing about this company is they are flexible. They are happy if you show up to work. Your gonna put up with not the greatest equipment but they are in the process of getting newer stuff. Reason they are hurting is because they pay the lowest in the LTL industry. Which is higher then the higher truckload jobs. They want experienced LTL drivers but nobody will take the pay hit to come over. So they are now becoming the mega carrier of LTL cause they can only hire inexperienced drivers. I took the job when I got fired from a Foodservice job. I actually made more money then with that previous job. No camera(what go me canned) nobody over my shoulder. Your gonna see a lot of vets that been there grumpy as hell. So just tune it out. I don’t know your previous income but you can make 65-70k in the city. If you go to linehaul 75k-80k plus. I’m thinking their gonna have to give at least the 15% back at the end of the year with the contract. They’ve been at -15% for 10 years I don’t think the morale can take another couple years. So it will be a decent pay increase for you but still behind the times for the LTL industry. Like I said they need people so you’ll have no worries while working there unless you really screw up. Like kill somebody with the tractor screwing up. Keep your nose clean for 90 days and your good until you want to leave or stay.
