Request new trainer or stay under radar?

First off, someone as large as Prime has a dedicated Trainer Driver Manager, or whatever the title is. After training you will get a new drover manager.
That being said, the logging off duty, seat belt (His, not yours), and even the little bit of trash you can clean in 30 seconds are nothing. Clean the trash, put on your seat belt, log legal and do your pre/post. If he doesn't like it then get a new trainer.

As for the broken APU and messy top bunk, well those are likely minor reasons to get a new trainer. Shop might issue a new bunk (If it's not an O/O who has to pay for it) so that only leave the APU, and that is take it the shop next time he's sleeping. Unless of course it's an O/O truck. APU doesn't even matter, as long as idling is available.

In a nutshell, what you are complaining about is very minor and there is a good chance if you request a new trainer he will be worse. Piss bottles instead of empty water bottles as an example.

 

Just hang in there and get thru it: it will be over soon! Do all your stuff legal and smart.. throw a sheet over the mattress on your bunk; wipe it all down up there with Lysol wipes; and get thru it the best you can. Training totally sucks and we all know it! Hang in there: you can do it!

That not logging/ performing pretrips
And using PC in route to customers ain't going to work out well for you if an when you get caught on an inspection.

Don't be scared to speak up.

My trainer is messy and the cab stinks and there’s piss bottles. It’s not that bad I’ll get through it. He has never once pre tripped either.

However if I wanted to drive off duty, I’m pretty sure his answer would be Hell No! I’m not sure but that one part would concern me from what I’ve learned so far.

Talk to the person in charge of training and explain it to that person, then request a new trainer.

There is no excuse for you sleeping on a dirty/used mattress nor being told to violate policy.,

YEP! Pretty much. Getting a career is hard. You gotta put up with a lot!!

Hazing is rampant EVERYWHERE!!! I VEHEMENTLY disagree with it , but it’s out there. A messy truck is pretty minor. I could handle that with ease. “SMDH” all you want.
