Priority Transportation, Inc. - Chesterton, In.?

I worked for them when they were K.A.T, Then Priority it was run by the same people and dispatched by te same crew in the building on the backside of the property. All I can say is like most trucking companies they never kept their word. and I quit shortly after 9/11 when I was in Lyndhurst Va and a meat warehouse and they wanted me to deadhead to Huron,OH to pick up a load of dupont hazmat for Chicago the next day and i was out of hours for the week. With DOT out in force they was no way I was running it...

 

Unless something changed since this article or I mis-read this article. Celadon purchased nothing.......

and I just tried to post with the link for the article and no dice since my count is zero....this make post number 1.....

ok anyway since I can't show my proof in the reuters article perhaps you can show me your proof that Celadon did in fact purchase Priority like you stated. The article I read said they were going to assist Priority in load delivery, asset recovery, and billing and recievables. The article also stated that Celadon would purchase no assets.

The article I am refering to was dated Aug 26th.....perhaps something has changed since then.

 

There is probably a link in one of the existing thread on Priority regarding that deal. Just doing a quick search of thread titles, there are 8 threads including this one regarding Priority Transportation. Cybergal is good at finding articles and posting the links to them.

I never said Celadon purchased any assets. There are several ways to take over or buy out another company. Celadon has 'bought out' or 'taken over' at least two other companies this year in some manner.
