Ain't that some truth. The more people I meet the more I like my dogs. lol.

If the dog is like mine, likely only barks when the owner isn't in the vehicle. Mine if I get out won't normally bark unless they don't like the look of you or your to close to the ride. Personal vehicle. My experience the dogs whose owners have trained them don't do all that crazy barking unless there is a reason to. That's my experience though, others may vary.

Well guys, the breed is the problem.

I won't get into what the problems are, these dogs are bred for one thing only and living with dog fighting near my home for more than 20 years before moving here and having seen what they can do, I'm not coming from the point of view of someone uninformed or believing some bs tv show that was created to make them out as passive animals.

As a fleet owner, I do allow certain dogs in my trucks no matter what, this one with a few other breeds. I am not willing to have that amount of risk to my company and assets if something happens.

Very well said. You take all emotion out of it. A pure and simple risk vs. reward business decision.

If you knew anything about dog fighting you’d know a dog should never bite his handler or show any aggression towards people. Therefore even a fighting dog isn’t a threat to people.

Every decade has its “bad dogs”

In the 90s and 2000s it was Rottweilers and Dobermans now it’s pitbulls but that’s almost passed. Then it will be another dog.

Give me a pitbull all day over some little Yorkie that scares easy with a personality disorder that’s never been trained because it’s small. Only dog that ever attacked me was a ####er spaniel. I hate those #### things.

I get what you are saying. The best and most well behaved dog i ever had was on that aggressive breed list.
However as a business owner when I'm hiring a driver i have no way of knowing if his pit or doberman is well behaved or if it has been abused all its life and ready to snap...i have to limit my risk exposure in every way i can, and when it comes to dogs the lowest risk is to simply not allow them on the truck. Even without the risk of the dog attacking someone and getting sued, to many customers simply will not allow them in their property. I'm in business to make money by my trucks pulling the most profitable freight possible. A dog eliminates quite a lot of that profitable freight.

Aggressive breed. What a joke. Like we all need a nanny policy to tell us our breed is too aggressive to be a safe companion. It’s one thing to worry about the condition of the interior or shedding, but don’t worry about it otherwise.

Ohio and done other states used to classify any short haired muscular dog in the terrier genome as an aggressive breed , that includes boxers. Look at this picture, does he look like an aggressive dog? I rescued him after his own died in motorcycle accident in 2009. I can see limiting specific dogs from trucks of you owned the truck, but just because past experience one has with dog fights doesn't mean jack #### for a breed being aggressive. Any dog can bite, statistically chihuahua's and bull dogs bite more than put bulls do.
