So I pull into a truck stop today, and see one of my companies trailer dropped with no kingpin lock (which they issue in orientation), and no padlock (which the issue in orientation). I can tell from the seal it’s one of our highest value loads.
Do you say A. “not my problem” or B. Call dispatch and make them aware of the situation.?
Give me your opinion

Mind your own business, the truck could be in the shop, take a look, and talk with the driver,
diesel drinker, Opus, Western flyer and 2 others Thank this. -
Not your problem. Minding your own business keeps the bad karma away.
BlackThought, Joe Dan, VIDEODROME and 6 others Thank this. -
Just remember, you get back 10 of what you give.

Maybe I would use my own king pin lock and padlock on it and leave...to teach them a lesson.

Move it to the other side of the truckstop and stick a note in the portalp flap.
AZ Pete and runningman0661 Thank this. -
The driver is probably in the shop, having a bad day, reach out to him,
