It's always good for some detention. 9.5 hours to load, plus another 13 + a layover at the customer. I make almost as much sitting as the linehaul.

We are still busy. Got in this afternoon. They have me meeting up with a driver loading in Houston and swapping loads with him this weekend.

My load is one of those Hopewell Va to Houston out and backs. His loads in Houston Friday and delivers in High Point Monday.

I would have to do a reset on the way back if I kept it. They have a local guy loading it tomorrow so that’s 3 drivers on this load to avoid a reset on the road and have me with a fresh clock
    to run next week.

I worked 2 full weeks this past time out plus some. 1st week 1,893.00 and stayed in hotel 2 nites, second week 2,119.00 and slept in hotel 4 nights. I honestly thought I was having a bad run.. holy smokes was I wrong. That’s pretty darn good pay for 2 weeks work and layed around hotels few of them days all day long..

    Well it's come to this.....

Drove that on a MI out-n-back while my truck is in the shop. It's one of two remaining Prostars my terminal has that it keeps as a spare. I figure I made slightly less than a company driver doing the same run but I said I'd cover the load so....Hopefully I'll get my truck sorted by early next week. P.sure its the wire that comes off the battery that is the culprit.

Finally made it back from Miami Tuesday-sat... i has the best time of my life. Since being out the truck 2/23 almost 1 month I’ve went from 316 to 297 so almost 20 lbs. life is great outside of being jobless and just spent $1700 on my whole trip should’ve cost me around 1100 but I was to drunk and missed two flights and ended up paying 600 for a flight instead of my normal $47. And I bought like hella clothes there too

Still alive and well, we've been pretty busy the last couple of months, seems to be slowing down a bit, thank God.
Good luck with your first day at new job
