So I ran this load hard today and got it to the yard in time for a shag driver to run it the rest of the way. Got a load going to Atlanta and made it down to Mound City, Missouri before I had to shut down. May end up getting a discount on the work and O/O pay for those two runs since it turned out to be an installation issue, not a deffective part as first thought. Truck runs like a beast. Stronger, smoother and initially anyhow, much more efficiently.
More later...Panhandle flash, Highway Sailor, daf105paccar and 7 others Thank this. -

Let's not forget the brutal truth here !
That while I'm not pleased about a couple issues ..the Morehouse shop does a ton of work in a day .
...shats gonna happen !
I don't know about broke down but if I had to finance these repairs I'd already be broke and driving a company truck .
Even tho Morehouse is a great outfit people don't finance trucks thru a carrier because they have perfect credit and lots of money .
Bottem line is they have your back when others would tell ya TFB.
And don't forget they sell those trucks at wholesale price ...not at the 30pct mark up others do on retail price .
I can overlook a few things for that ..not to mention the rates and how are treated , so spare me the crying .Vic Firth, Broke Down 69, Airborne and 4 others Thank this. -
Sounds like a good outfit and they understand the that a successful operator creates profit for the mother ship.
We read so many horror stories about LP or OO getting ripped off by dealers.
Nice to hear some positive for a change.
Heck even giving you a company truck to run while your down (even if it’s company wages) can be a huge plus. If you had to take it to an outside shop it could take weeks to get a truck up and running.
We had a truck that needed a alternator in Omaha about 2 months ago. KW said they were booked 10 days out. For a freaking alternator!
Heck the TA said they “ would TRY and squeak us in tomorrow?”Vic Firth, Broke Down 69, Feedman and 2 others Thank this. -
