    I got a question....

So I got a call this morning from May trucking, I guess there based out of Oregon. And I live in Vegas.
They said as far as my driving record goes that they just wanted the last 3 years. And that if there were no major moving violations that they would hire me after I got my CDL.

But here's the thing. In either 2015 or 2016, I was living in AZ and went up to Laughlin, NV and got a speeding ticket in Laughlin. (not a major violation, I know but I didn't disclose it to May trucking) I went to pull my MVR Record for my AZ drivers license and it shows NO RECORD of me ever getting a citation in Laughlin. But I did get one, I know that for a fact. And up until yesterday I've ALWAYS had the same AZ DL.

So what do I do? Should I put this moving violation on my trucking job applications?

    Thanks.

TOTAL HONESTY. If they want moving violations for the past 3 years and even though this one might not have hit your MVR it might be sitting in a database somewhere. YOU do not want to be sent home from orientation.

    buddyd157 and Sunsfan13 Thank this.

List it. In short cases it could just take a while.

Check your criminal history because here there are moving traffic tickets that never makes it to the mvr.

A friend of mine told me once that one of his sons got a following to closely ticket about 10 years ago. because it was part of a disputed at fault accident he had to go to court. The judge asked both of them if they could just go 50 50 on the fault and have each others insurance pay, they agreed and the judge according to the guy tossed the tickets out. This guy attended the USA Truck Orientation and was asked about his following to close ticket. TO this day he has no idea how USA Truck got that information unless it was somehow insurance related. Just be careful and assume the information is there even though it might not show on a MVR.

Okay I'll disclose it. Thanks for the help, not trying to hid anything. It's in a database somewhere. Just didn't know what to do. Worse case scenario if it was from 2016 then I'll have to maybe wait another year til a trucking company will hire me.

Get a copy of your DAC report. You'd be amazed at what info it has on you.

As long as its not a dui, wreck less driving or a crazy speeding ticket ( 15 mph or more) you will be fine.
