Well there goes the neighborhood. Does this mean we can make the Canadians slow down when they come over here, or does this slow down only mean in Canada. :biggrin_25523:

The four-wheelers are gonna eat the truckers alive up there if they're governed at 105 kph. I've traveled sections of the 401, and they don't exactly adhere to the limit there... not by a long shot!

But watch roads like the 402 where there are only 2 lanes .
For a while I was going to Ontario 4 to 6 times a month . I haven't been there since the first week of November . From what I heard we may not be going back . Suits me . Our fleet owner is a driver from way back . None of our trucks are governed . I run too many 70 m.p.h. states to be setting my speed to suit Canadians .

Hey! Let's just clarify it's not all Canadians. :biggrin_25510:

Heck, the speed limit here is close enough to 70 (110 km/hr). And you have to do at least that when crossing Saskatchewan to avoid falling asleep.:biggrin_25525:

    Hmmm.....
I wonder what Arnold was doing up in Canada last month????
    55 mph is slow enough...
DPF's, outlawing pre-2004 rigs in a year or so.....I'll bet a 40 mph speed limit for trucks is next on the list for CALI......[IMG]

Yes it will be interesting to see.. I cant wait to see how pissed off the 4 wheelers get when the granny and middle lane of the highway are clogged with trucks running right at 105 and they are all forced to use the hammer lane to try and maintain their usual 120 plus that they like to do. Just a few weeks ago I passed a truck that was doing 90 and then moved back to the right lane and when the 4 wheeler from behind passed me he flipped me off because I caused him to slow down from his speed of about 130. Like WTF the limit is 100 ppl! The province and the OPP should be focusing on the cars that are doing 120 or more while weaving in and out and passing on the shoulder and not the trucks that might be doing 105.:biggrin_25516:

Well at least the trucks aren't limited to 90km/hr like they are in Europe!

I hope I don't run to Ontario. That place sucks enough. The speed limiter thing is the icing on the cake. I hope Quebec limits speed too, and I can run a good enough case past the boss to avoid both of Canada's buttholes.
