hello all! so i just bought this dumptruck and i was welding a plate on the back to attach a pintle hitch i had the battery unhooked i hit the end of the welding rod on the yellow wire of the trailer plug and it arced then when i hooked the battery up the left turn light stays on changed all the burnt fuses and there is still 3.6 volts coming through wire. any ideas would be appreciated. the truck wiring is all good just the trailer plug is doing this.

Post last six of VIN. I will look @ wiring. Doesn't sound good. Possible issue with chasis node.

Check all the fuses on the firewall as well? Those power the chassis node that runs all the lights.

Uploaded a copy of your wiring diagram for lights. The fuse for left trailer turn is fuse A9 in chasis load center(under hood). Goes from fuse to chasis node. Chasis node is module for lighting. Out of chasis node thru couple connectors to your trailer recepticle. Chasis node can be located numerous places, usually under cab drivers side near transmission. I will upload possible locations. P/N is Q21-1077-3-103 if you need one. Keep us posted.
