Depends who you ask. It was just a volunteer test as first roll out. I think they already have them up and running, but a few of the butt kissing wanttobe gung go ra ra boys on here will be quick to tell you that big blue would NEVER treat their beloved associates in such an intrusive manner, lol!

Tell me specifically what they have lied about.
But yes for now they are outboard, and those that feel the need can cover them up so long as th hey do not place any adhesive on the internal lens. I keep mine covered. I trust two people. One of them is me, and the other one is not you. -
drvrtech77, Triumph 1 and Coover Thank this.

If a driver is involved in a serious accident resulting in 3 dead kids on a school bus and the front cam clearly shows the bus was at fault. Envision a scenario where the driver is perfect in every aspect. Open and shut with a front cam only.
However the driver was changing the station on his radio prior to that said accident. No chance of avoiding accident regardless. So many scenarios where a driver cam could hurt the company and driver, and very few where it could help.
Very dramatic scenario of course. But a front cam can only hurt in most cases, rarely help. Why any company does it is stupid imo -
Yep that sounds just about right.Last edited: Apr 6, 2018
