If you lease the truck you'll have to go through insurance and get it showroom-fixed. Even if you're in the process of paying off the bank loan with them holding the title, you likely are obligated to do that.
However, if you own the rig and you don't plan on selling it soon, you can choose the less-than-perfect repair route. Get several businesses or individuals to look at it who are used to working with fiberglass, including boat dealers, and who would be willing to fix it enough to get it to look and wear decently without leaking. The logic here is that nobody will care if it's not perfect and who knows, another driver might hit another canopy down the road which would require you to fix it again. And, by paying a couple of thousand dollars out of your own pocket now, your insurance company won't raise your rates because of a $25000 payout they would otherwise have.
Some time in the future, however, not fixing it to factory-grade condition can/will cost you, namely when you want to sell it in such a repaired condition. -
Order the parts, in the meantime, see if a boat shop could do the repair a little cheaper.
