I have the same setup for both trucks.I had to put some cushion on the Soleus acgen.jpg thumbnail (2).jpg Ac unit.Ac is rated at 12btu.I have had the RYOBI genset for 6 months.I think I will get a Champion genset for the 2nd truck.Much more relaible and I had that for 3yrs.

Where does the exhaust vent to? Looks like a carbon alarm should be given out to those parked close by.

I hope that I don't hurt your feelings but I have to be brutally honest. This looks f...ugly and I'd never want to drive with this contraption. Faced with a hard a choice, I'd go for APU for 10-12K.

And I would do neither and just let the truck run, I never pass up a chance to anger the Enviro-Nazis ;)

But then at least his pants are up where they are supposed to be instead of showing the plumbing crack.

Not at all...far from it. You wanted some feedback..., now you have to take what they give you.
    Wish you all the best!

Exhaust from generator really no different from truck exhaust. Hot exhaust rises.

Brickwall, henboy1 and nax Thank this.

I would either get metal gas cans or store the plastic jugs in a tool or saddle box so they don't rub and leak.
Plastic jugs in the open are a catastrophe waiting to happen.

Good on you for making an alternative to idling your truck motor.

    henboy1 Thanks this.
