How is that co-pilot working for you? I'm thinking of getting it since I have a tablet. Does it take up a lot of memory to download all of those maps? Moreover, is there any way to save your shippers and consignees you go to in it and can I like upload a truck stop database into it?

I have been running it for years. I still prefer it best. I like the fact I can drag routes and it gives you 3 routes when you first create a trip. It calculates instantly pretty much. Ny to California it will have 3 routes in under 5 seconds.
I have the $150 version but since then they have one called just copilot truck and it’s free to download and try. Then I think you can pay 9.99 a month maybe.
Total in size it’s about 2.25 gigs for all. Traffic isn’t bad either. It’s $10 a year
I would be willing to try the new Garmin 780 but idk if it’s much different from the 760
Yes if you google you can add poi to it. You android or ios?
Yes you can save addresses and spots on map and name them in your favorites417bigK Thanks this. -
My 770 had a few glitches, but Garmin gave me the place to report map errors. Nothing is perfect, and the 3rd party that routes you can't drive every street in the country, but this is why they do updates. You cannot rely 100% on any unit, but they are still great to have and getting better every generation. I would get the new one with Wi-Fi built in for updates. Their customer service is very good too. If the wait is too long they call you back. Garmin also pairs phone, weather and traffic in real time.

Found out that to pair the Garmin you have to download their app for weather and traffic in real time. They are also working on not only forward cameras but side cameras too. Be nice to have it all in one. Also heard they have a better mount on the new unit and it's magnetic, so no more tugging on and off the ball.

If you don’t have traffic it don’t use any data other than to download the maps which you would do over WiFi -
I don’t like leaving my hotspot on. Is there an app RM will use as opposed to hotspot?
