JJ said that unless its Blizzard conditions you will still test out. I think there motto is you will be driving in snow when you start out with a trainer and when you go Solo.
Good luck with it all and let us know how it goes.

Hey Chrome, How is it going with the new Job?????

Is central going to paperless logs? Somebody here should know eh.
-
YEP they are, and it sucks at times.
-
No... It sucks all the time!
-
Yep no tweaking with the paperless

This is just great...
Sitting in the TA in Rawlins, WY on New Years Eve sick as a dog. At least I have just enough time to fit in a reset... I hate being sick. -
I really should read the info on the posters. I was at the Boise, ID TA last night, just a few blocks away & I didn't even know it.
-
You were about 6 miles from me us. Is it snowing there Yet???????? Sposed to snow here tonight.

I am doing pretty good.
A pretty good slow down the last few weeks. I took a week off for Christmas though.
They have been running me local some lately, so I was home every night the week before Christmas, and only out Tuesday night this week.
Pay is ok. Local is lower, the benefits are great though.
Free health insurance (my wifes was going up to like 540 a month, now she is opted out, and gets 100 a month from her company for opt out.
I was offered a newer truck last month, but I am holding out for a nicer one. The one offered was an International 9900i Eagle, but without much chrome, and a 54" sleeper.
I think I will take the one they just got. Teal colored 9900ix full chrome and lights. Big stacks, 72" sleeper. Just waiting on them finishing up there go over on it. Had a few more miles on it than they normally buy 440k, but the price was right.
Nice trucks, great maintenance, days off whenever you want.
The owner calls you by name and says hello whenever he sees you.
Yes, I take home probably 800 a month less than at Central a month (based on my average of 1000 a week take home.
But I am home every weekend. Everyone at office is nice and knows me. Health insurance has put 600+ a month in my pocket, that I would not have had otherwise.
All in all I am happy.
They will not make me run over hours. Though it has been known to happen from time to time, to beat storms, or get home when I would have been parked less than 120 miles away.
