funny you mention, i saw one of those jacked up powerstrokes with huge rims and rubbber bands at the liqour store earlier. I was like wtf. i did give him some credit though. He didnt have dual stacks in the bed like a wannabe trucker that couldnt get his cdl. Plenty of those around here.

An ### fault cowboy told me the red fuel police showed up at the sale barn and checked everything that burned fuel. I saw inspections being done on gas line trucks running pipe on the side on a state road. Just be ready because no one knows the time or the day.

You get caught with red fuel I can promise you a visitation with a guy in a black robe. It is not that serious a chance in a non cmv but it can happen. I have seen several situations where a trucker was lead off in cuffs. One was in the buckeye once caught by a state trooper illegally closing his hazmat placards in a rest area. The other was a driver caught running red fuel at a state DOT tank stick.

Getting caught with dyed(non-taxed) diesel in a highway running vehicle is a VERY expensive offense.........also not saving $1/gal even states with horrific fuel taxes only tack on maybe .55/gal

Hopefully, you're just trying to be funny. And even that failed.

I was told many years ago that diesel wholesalers are required by IRS regulations to report all sales of red fuel the amounts and who the fuel was sold to. I have not been able to confirm this. However if it is true then that would account for all the times I have seen IRS agents enter businesses that use diesel driven heavy equipment and check all the road vehicles. I have seen this several times over my life.
