I'll have to take your word for it, bub. I'm New England based - don't know if they (Cargo Transporters) come up this 'ah ways.... My current outfit has Southern terminals if I wanted to do OTR (NC, SC & FL).... but I'm 'lazy' and I really like my own bed. That's one thing I took away from Big Blue: The road is an adventure. My home bed is the ####.

####..I didn’t know u were such a player. Must be nice!
Between my scuba diving, mountain climbing and hang gliding... I don’t have enough time for that anymore.
Maj. Jackhole Thanks this. -
Never worked for them either.

I haven't done that since I was a Swift driver. Just saying...IluvCATS Thanks this.

when i ran the road, it all depended on what time(s) i get to the truck stops. if i got there early (which was nearly always my plan), i'd park close to the building, wither the main building or near the shop.
many times, i''d just say screw it, and park near the exit.
and others, i'd just park near the back row, since so many spots are available, cuz all the fat truckers can't waddle from there to the building.
i never double parked, or made my own space. i always knew that if my rig got hit, i'd have to tell my employer(s) why i chose to park like that. -
I only park where I'm not supposed to in the middle of the day when there's 100+ open parking spots because I'm a lazy lardo who refuses to walk more than 10 steps to get my Chester's Chicken fix...
D.Tibbitt, swervyjoe, Maj. Jackhole and 2 others Thank this. -
I don't know how y'all can stand that dry Chesters and Popeye's crap. But then again. KFC on the east side of the country sucks too. Unless they've changed.
austinmike, Maj. Jackhole and Pete jockey Thank this. -
If you’re gonna double park on the end of rows because you don’t wanna back into a spot on the back row, at least have the common courtesy to set your alarm for 5 or 6 am and move into a spot when all the motivated drivers are getting their day started and leaving some prime pull- through spots for you
Big_D409, IluvCATS, buddyd157 and 1 other person Thank this. -
Which ones do you use?
