If and when Sell-it-off trucking goes under. you will see alot of drivers selling cheap rubber maybe fuel and truck parts.
Flashback to when a company called "Arrow" trucking shut down and stranded hundreds of drivers.
@TripleSix you remember seeing those trucks...LtlAnonymous, Rugerfan, Vic Firth and 3 others Thank this. -

I sure hope the current bunch of drivers have side money to get home or to the new job. I remember when Arrow closed shop and left the whole fleet stranded. There were drivers screaming that they lived in the truck and couldn’t get a ride home. If you live in a truck, couldn’t you at least have a little coin saved to leave? Let’s start a poll to see when this shutdown will take place. My bet is on or before July 31st.

I joined a gym, new place, with new equipment, full staff 24/7/365 access. I paid a year membership in advance. When my year was about up, I noticed that the management cut staff, cut things like maintenance (you know, the padding on the machines get worn out quickly), the girls at the juice bar, the child care facility, and they cut the hours the gym was open.
Well, they contacted me about renewing my annual membership, what do you think I said?
There were signs that Arrow was going under. There's ALWAYS signs. Office staff gets cut back. Owner operators get laid off. Maintenance goes down the toilet. Safety Dept is History. Troubles with fuel cards. Can't get new tires. Paycheck bounce. You've only been there 2 years and you're the senior driver. Where you used to have regular customers, you are now having to play phone tag with brokers. Crappy brokers. You have 3 different dispatchers in 3 weeks.
Ignore the signs at your own peril. Be sure to travel light.Rollr4872, peterbilt_2005, drvrtech77 and 2 others Thank this. -
