    Standard Issue is 2 years ....

    Then its backwards from there ...

    For instance a person has High Bloop Pressure
    or Diabetes ...they are watched a little closer
    and issued a 1 Year Card

    ...if your really out of whack ...you get a 6 month card

    ...If you are the living dead you get a ONE TIME 3 month
    card and then your done forever

    My god man there are at least 6 comments in this thread answering your dang question! Can you read and understand the #### English language? NOBODY in here as far as I know are Medical Examiners. The process as provided by the FMCSA rules is go get your physician to write a dang letter. Then take this letter to an Examiner and they will either approve you to drive or they will not. How hard is this to understand? There is no red tape other then some leg work on your part. Because most physicians are totally paperless most of the time all a doc has to do is print out a letter and sign it. I think @MACK E-6 or another staff member needs to lock this thread up because your question HAS been answered!

    i never asked for your OPINION and you have not said anything worth a #### here, and that last comment i made wasnt to you, nobody asked you to chime in, you wait for someone to say something then bla bla bla like you know somrthing when you dont, you just repeat what someone else says, i said i wanted to talk to someone who has taken a physical recently, can YOU understand the english language, see if you can understand this, im not interested in anything you think, so why dont you just move on outa this thread, people like you are the reason other people are on medication

    I did not give you an OPINION! I gave you the rule! Now if you can't accept simple instructions on how to follow the FMCSA rules you might well need to go flip burgers because you are a tragedy waiting on a place to happen.
