i tip NO ONE but a waitress, BUT that too is only if she gets my order right and keeps my coffee cup full. otherwise, i just pay my bill and walk out.

this day and age of tipping every yahoo does not work for me.

the truck wash guys, get a salary.

the shower cleaner gets a salary.

and so on and do forth.

waiters and waitress's get less than minimum wage and the tips bring them up to and hopefully over that low wage.

all others can suck a lemon.

I tip atleast 20% at restaurants on road , on Sunday when me and the wife go to breakfast I tip $10 on a $25meal every week, I leave $2 to the shower attendant unless it’s dirty or I don’t have any singles, I tip mom and pop truck washes occasionally but not when they hit me up for it and dang sure don’t tip the streaking beacon..

I know some gals who are waiting tables or used to a the fancier restaurants, red lobster, Texas Roadhouse and one hooters girl, if you guys knew what these girls make at them higher end restaurants you would start to think trucking was the dead end job..

$1 to the shower cleaner, and 20% to my waitress. Do they always deserve it no? But it makes me feel better about my miserable old cranky ###.

I tip the guys & girls at Blue Beacon, bc I always ask them to do extra stuff when they dry my truck.

I don’t tip for showers. They make above minimum wage!

I never tip truck washes, they again paid above minimum & charge to much.

I start at 20% for waiters/waitresses, that number can go up or down depending on their service, attitude, & appearance.

I’ve left nothing, up to 100% tips. Of course the 100% would be a great waitress on a cheap meal. $8, drop a $20 & bounce.

Also, sometimes you can just tell they need it more than you.
