Hey there, can anyone tell me once I finish the school in West Valley, how long do I need to be with a over the road trainer? Also, how soon can I lease a truck from them to run to?

    Thanks

Out with a trainer for around 28 days. After three months you can lease a truck.

We are L/O with Central now and if I was you I would wait and see how the economy goes, and if Freight picks up some, before I leased on.

IF you are just now fixen to go to school i would wait atlest 2 years before even thinking about a lease. Theres no way for you to know in three months hardly how to really drive a truck much less own a buisness!!!!! Im not trying to be an azzzzzzzzzzz but you better know what you are getting into before you do it. In three months the new will not even be worn off yet. And theres know way you will know if you really like it or not. Just my 2 cents not worth much but there it is.

Thanks for that...I do have over 8 years over the road experience and running a ten trucking company. I just have been out of the field for 7 years and getting back in to it. I know being owner operator is the way to go. With bad credit now I can buy a truck, were I would like to be...but I need to do what I need to do.

Has any one out here lease a truck from Central and what kind of payments am I looking out. And after the lease is over, what payment do they want for the truck. I know you can"t get me exact figures, just want to know what I am looking at.

    Thanks.

Also, how often do you get home and how many days in month are you home?

I didn't have my wallet on me, so they couldn't have made me go to the ATM. That I'm glad for

They made calls and answered calls on the phone, but I suspect by the time I suspended the phone, they threw it away and it's long gone now.

I read somewhere that they are out 3 to 4 weeks at a time and i think the lease op make around 60,000 thats with out being a trainer these numbers could be wrong but should be close. And im not sure but at the end of the lease you have to get your own financing for the truck.

3 to 4 weeks I wish :yes2557: and yes your right at the end of your Lease you either get private financing to buy it out right or just turn it in and get a new one.
