I run heavy and short miles on Ohio roads. Still run Michelin tires. They will save you more than they cost. It just sucks to pay for them at once.

Well maybe I am running them too long then. I check them with temp gun, and watch for leaking.
BoxCarKidd Thanks this. -
Do any of you think the Sachs are good shocks? I have been know to over think things. But I in no way see how the Road Kings are worth it.

Not sure what part of Ohio you are in @jamespmack , but Fyda Freightliner in Cincinnati buys direct from Sachs aftermarket and has decent pricing. Also Dsuban Spring in Cincy sells Sachs shocks and clutches. I have been using the Sachs self adjusting clutches in our Mack dump trucks for about five years and have had great luck. They gave me one free to try out. We have a 98 FLD120SD six axle dump that had OEM Sachs clutch that went a little over 800,000 miles and that was not with easy/skilled drivers! Clutch was just wore out, not usual broken damper springs like Eatons. Sachs makes #### good products.
Ruthless and jamespmack Thank this. -
