The Chosen one has confirmed what I've told you: Steer Clear of Crooks
Run England! As you can see, a relative new-comer; &, so, just biding time, long enough to bag them & move on. I feel very badly for you,
Chosen One; but, thank God, if you are able to survive it, you'll make it
out & find someone to drive for who shows some consideration for the
driver!
At this point, I am wondering who that decent company might be. (???)
SRT had the potential to become an excellent company; but, appears
to have gone the way of the waywards. Is there a decent company,
that, while allowing for drivers to operate within the legal parameters of
the industry, provides an opportunity to make reasonable money, while
still ensuring an opportunity to enjoy reasonable home-time; a place
where you are treated with the common respect due to anyone who
has not commited a wrong against the company; or, any person under
their employ???
No longer a driver; but, curious, Springloaded![]()
cr england is no trking co.

How many of you stop to help a fellow driver in need on the side of the road. Or at least ask on the CB if he's OK?
How many of you are the foul mouthed, rude individuals when someone asks a question on the CB?
How many of you are the inconsiderate drivers in the truckstop when you see a new driver attempting to park, and all you do is deride the person for not "one shotting" the spot?
How many of you are the idiot in the hammer lane, holding up traffic because you're too lazy to get back into the right lane?
How many of you refuse to acknowledge the courtesty of another driver who flashes you when you've cleared him during passing?
I encounter far too many drivers today who are rude, inconsiderate, and think only me, me, me, me.
Yes.. We're our own worst enemy as to why this industry has sunk to the low that it's in right now.Lonesome, MACK E-6, evertruckerr and 4 others Thank this. -
But alot of guys cat just go get their Class A's just anywhere that why they are forced to goto these MILLS like myself. My back was against the wall and just ran with it. I honestly wanted to go home the day I got there it was so bad. But in the end I was a luck one who got a good dedicated run. As far as that "perfect company" there really isnt one. I mean every big company you goto is gonna care about them and them only. I have friends everywhere with different companies and they all have something bad to say about them. In my opinion I would say Wal-Mart is a great company to work for they really baby their drivers and care about their needs. I personally saw them had their drivers snow cleats just because the weather was getting bad and they didnt want them to slip. I mean is a small thing but it shows that they care.

There ARE truckin' companies that DO care about their drivers
Including non-truckin' companies.
How many are totally satisifed with where they work?
But you just contridicted yourself.

been thinking for quite some time: Kudos from an ex-trucker,
Springloaded -
quick to take shots at another driver; especially a relatively new one!
For the sake of any decency that may remain among the human race:
Give The Driver a Break!!!
Thanks for your time, Springloaded -
Are you sayin' what I'M sayin' isn't true?
As a new driver, I respect ChosenWun, but blanket statements don't fly accurately.
There are many posters here with hundreds of years of combined experience.
Some have been around the block several times and have witnessed the decline in the truckin' industry.
Others are experiencing how the southbound economy is affecting the industry today.
Some are making it, some aren't.
Some will be able to weather the storm.
Some won't.
Many of us prefer to tell it like it is, and where we think
the industry is headin'.
And a few think false encouragement helps.
I don't.
It is what it is.
However, if anyone thinks my posts are in error,
by golly, I appreciate it when they point that out.
My ultimate goal is the truth of the matter.
Nuthin' else really matters.
Thank you, too.
And WELCOME to the forums.
