    I sit in the booths NEAR the counter.
    Just close enough to hear the conversation so that I can chuckle as I eat my grub.
    It doesn't take long for it to become a game of One Upsmanship.

    That game can go from ridiculously funny to really sad.
    I had a guy one up me one time over laundry. Yep one day I pop in the tv room waiting the remaining 7 minutes till I put my clothes in the dryer, guys says " shoot man I don't do laundry on the road I tell my dispatcher it's time to go to the house I gots laundry to do" lol
