Has anybody here managed to find a space for a small motorcycle on the truck? It'd be so much more fun than grabbing an Uber to get around. I recently got it into my head when I saw the Honda Grom at 230lbs or so. I feel so bad for leaving my bike all alone last year while I was out working.
Bringing a motorcycle?

Question. Can I fit a small watercraft? I personally enjoy getting out on the water during my 34s.

I don't know what you pull, but 230 lbs can be a lot of weight. In flatbedding I was constantly loaded to the limit. Would be hard to tell a shipper to cut a pallet because I gotta scooter on the back of my rig....SoulScream84, frito bandito and Blackshack46 Thank this.

If you own your own truck it can certainly be done. I've seen set ups with a small drom between the cab and the trailer, but it does take a few feet of room. Bike faces sideways, not directly forward. If you hauled dedicated freight and you knew you would always have the room you could work something out in the trailer. It would be a hassle and a lot of lost loads if you had to run the market though.
As a company driver you'd never make it work unless it was a small company with an understanding boss with dedicated freight that could accommodate it.rabbiporkchop and BillStep Thank this. -
I'm looking at it like having a large adult male passenger. It's not a huge change.RockinChair, CorsairFanboy, Farmerbob1 and 4 others Thank this.

If your company goes for it fine. But, no way I get a call from a driver saying he's overloaded because of a 230lb scooter. The shipper also would be on the horn complaining he had to cut product because of "scooter" weight. But if your company allows it, I think it'd be great.....
