I’ve seen many trucks with their bike secured somehow on the catwalk behind the tractor! It can be done! I’m not sure how they’ve secured them tho... never really looked carefully at the setup! Good luck! I think it’s a great idea

Probably a bicycle would be a better option. Most truck stops are in rural areas and do not have alot of entertainment venues in the immediate area. Also keep in mind you have to factor in weight on your drive tires. A couple hundred pounds is not a big deal in North Carolina. But when you get up into Maryland and Virginia the DOT can be picky about weight.

I would put it on the front. I've got a Peterbilt with the removable tow sharks. I would use the shank slots to carry a platform. I would have to move the license plate to the platform. As long as it doesn't block the headlights and it still cools the radiator,it could work.
