148 pounds (dry), plus the added bonus of not needing a ramp or lift. :D

I’ve seen many trucks with their bike secured somehow on the catwalk behind the tractor! It can be done! I’m not sure how they’ve secured them tho... never really looked carefully at the setup! Good luck! I think it’s a great idea

Probably a bicycle would be a better option. Most truck stops are in rural areas and do not have alot of entertainment venues in the immediate area. Also keep in mind you have to factor in weight on your drive tires. A couple hundred pounds is not a big deal in North Carolina. But when you get up into Maryland and Virginia the DOT can be picky about weight.

I have a folder, but that rural truck stop is the exact problem. Takes forever to get anywhere and I'm not fit enough, though I wish to be.

I would put it on the front. I've got a Peterbilt with the removable tow sharks. I would use the shank slots to carry a platform. I would have to move the license plate to the platform. As long as it doesn't block the headlights and it still cools the radiator,it could work.

Then you drive through a waterlogged area and your bike is half mosquito. But yes, as long as therest no regs against It it's a good spot.

That looks to be a similar design size to the grom, just older.
