Dumped? Does that mean you've been fired? :biggrin_2551: I hope not.

But if so, it looks like you are headed for greener pastures (meaning anything other than Covenant is gotta be greener.)

I hope you let us more about what's going on with you, MCR. And, if you are no longer with Cov, I wish you the best of luck in whatever you plan to do. I've enjoyed your rants.

no not fired, i was sent to p/u a bogus non-existent load, after going back to the TS, after about 6 hours they get me a load that requires me to fly like a flying squirrel on fire....but i say-nay-nay-nay!:biggrin_25516:
i thought the load was real, so i made arrangements to p/u a new "air card" for my laptop on the way upto PA,that i need to get dirs b'cause they have no real directions and won't offer any, but they cancelled the load, and i told my DM, the very non-prolific master of silence..that i need to "try" to head that way...she sends me to TX! what a turd eating ###### she turned out to be...:biggrin_2554:
so i sent my mac for an early hometime stating this was the end...no more flying squirrels.......no more sitting in this tiny crapper waiting for the turd roller to respond.....
i am going home to fl, to get a job and spend my days/summers at the beach..hoping to live longer than i will stressed out here.:biggrin_25510:
and to all the newbies that flock here after being told that this is "shangri-la"-paradise-eden, get ready to eat a pile of turds.
last one to leave covenant please turn out the lights.
    night yall!

    Now I'm confused. :smt017:smt102
That doesn't sound "pro-choice" to me.
    Isn't that anti-abortion?

The only way to explain Covenant is with super filthy language, but i am restricted to using that and have to abide by the rules here, all i can say is that it really sux to get here after 1 week of being -preplanned-so you deliver and then your ***DUMPED*** in the armpit of America. And yeah it's cold here....
I called in and i was told that i had a load to TX, then to find out that was bogus...again.
Now i have a wyoming 2 stop and final in SLC UT. Joy. from the fridge to the deep freezer... i have started putting in apps for work, 1 is hauling gas locally and home every night, no more of this sit in the truck, bored and cold......
Maybe the monitors will let me put one really filthy post up to let everyone know what i feel about covenant.......???
I asked for time off in vegas, i will go to the casino and pray hard to the one armed bandit for some luck, then again,i might get fleeced..
But it's ok at least i got my girlfriend there to see the city that never sleeps, like me in this cold tuna can.
    later ya'll...

In the spirit of MCR, I will post here a load that I am under..it was picked up on 2/13
and is scheduled for del on 2/17 at night.....aproximately 750 miles. It cannot be del early, since both shipper and consignee will not allow it.
So, it pays aproximately $232.00,divided by 4 days sitting on it: $58 per day....if you divided the $58 by an hourly wage,it's: $2.42 per hour.
And as MCR has said, the worste part of the deal is being in a place that offers nothing to the driver, I can understand why he quit, and I also am looking to leave covenant, but the economy and job market are both -piss- poor.If you are out here all you can hope for is to at least run a little steady, but covenant doesn't offer any type of "normalcy"....and you can't call them....they are all yes men...company folks that don't care about the driver.
