Hello all, thanks for reading in advance.

i graduated from school in August 2017 with my bro start working in VAN Team with SNI for 1 month they called me after saying we doing good and if we willing to go doubles since we have it on the license with HM we said yea why not and starting Oct 2017 we start pulling doubles YRC trailers with SNI trucks.
i have always only checked the new drivers section in this forum didn't even know about this section just found it today.
the problem is with the change of the industry for Elog mandate i thought we deserve a good raise i will say exactly what am making CPM and paycheck wise... I had a strong feeling we are getting really low but i was ok with it cause i always thought am still new driver even though we are doing great and always on time with no ticket or any accident (thank God) TBH what shock me i was reading the Reddway contract 2019 thread and he have chart about what LTL pay for team and i honestly got SHOCKED about the CPM he listed in there and every one was saying its right or not but its seems to be on there
so am making 45 cent a mil for both drivers only hauling double on dedicated account almost 6k miles a week and reset at home every week so i get 2 days at home every week THAT IS NOT COUNTED AGAINST my home time (which is the only reason I LOVE this account) to be at home 2 days every week and still can take my home time when i want is plus for the first year in this industry... my paycheck is between 1300-1600 weekly and my bro do exactly the same for sure as we are team.
i have to add SNI is treating us like bosses i really mean it... the DBL or the adviser and everyone we have entranced with so far even trainers and tester are really respectful ppl they actually call me and my bro on monthly basses saying we can see your driving time and you guys running like 7 or 7 and half hours in row and if this bothering don't do it and things like we can change the truck or the load anytime but we can't change you so please take your rest if you can't reach the delivery just don't even stress it or bother... in all the 9 month we been working we had a one big mistake actually its on me. i was at the shipper to get the load and they told me the trailers numbers and i got the wrong trailers i didn't really check it twice cause they have security to check everything before i leave i thought he will check it again my luck when i left the girl there literally said am tired today just go LOL so i left with the wrong trailers didn't know about it till like 500 mil away they call my bro and they told him you got the wrong trailers. i called after and i was trying to tell my DBL its my fault and am sorry he said don't even say sorry we know this is not you and if you do this every week then we know you careless but this is a mistake and every human can do mistakes so don't even think about it... I really respect them when that happened and how they react about it. we got paid the full trip and even got layover extra pay for some weird reason lol
my question is this... as you guys can tell with what i wrote I LOVE the account am on because of the time am spending with my family and because of the SNI treatment to me MY ONLY ISSUE is the 0.45 CPM its killing me when i think about it and i was ok with it till i read the Reedway thread lol he saying some ltl companies pay 65 and even 70 so please is those numbers real or they don't really get the dream paycheck i mean if am making 1400 with the .45 cpm is the .65 would get me 2500 or so or it doesn't work like that.
please tell me should i call Old Deminion for example as i called them before and they said they only take 1 yr exp but if you graduated from a known school they take 3 months only and we are actually graduated from one of the best schools in GA. i told her about it she said yes we can look at your case i didn't send anything because again i love this account but now if the deffrent in pay is like that i have to think again and start to find another place.

please advice me am i reading this right or there is something hidden maybe because of my exp of 9 months only even the other companies won't pay me even the .45 ???

thanks again for reading all this and sorry if i misspelled anything... English isn't my first language
every input is more than appreciate it

If you can qualify for an LTL co and you can haul doubles with your brother, I would strongly suggest you make a move. The reason why YellaRC wants you guys pulling their doubles is because you're doing it for cheap (not to be harsh). OD pays top dollar for teams and most other LTLs that hire teams aren't far behind. Teams usually get preferential treatment/runs at LTL companies as well.

Keep doing what your doing until you hit a year driving. Most of the good LTL companies want at least a year of experience with no accidents. Once you hit a year start applying with Old Dominion, Estes, Fedex Freight, etc.

I'd stay away from YRC as far as becoming a company driver. They are quickly becoming the Swift of LTL except their equipment is worse. What your doing now is running freight on the cheap that YRC drivers could be running. Imagine having to deal with that if you worked for them.

My advice....stay where you are!!! It sounds like you were very happy with things until you found out you MIGHT make more money somewhere else. If you are happy with how you are treated and the money is sufficient then there is no reason to leave. I’ve been down this road many times and have left companies for more money only to be unhappy with everything else about the new company. Good luck and stay safe!!

Don’t kid yourself. Teams certainly earn their money, in large part because of how nearly impossible it is to get decent sleep in a moving truck.

It's already been said , but stay where your at till you guys have a year.
Then you can move on to a better position with a ltl company and nearly double your income.

Sure they treat you good because they're skimming at least 23 cents off the top of your paycheck for every mile that truck rolls. The going rate for pulling doubles is around .70 cpm. You're eating hamburgers when you could be eating steak. Listen to these men: get your experience in and get out of there and get a real job pronto.

Pay wise for your 1st year your doing better than 90% of all the other new guys. But like they said old dominion pays top dollar for teams. I'd go ahead and have both of you apply now. OD takes new drivers so they might just hire you guys now. @blairandgretchen I think teamed with them if I remember correct

Stay at the company for a year. Dont ruin your worth jumping around thinking the grass is greener. 2 years exp with less than 3 jobs and clean record makes and allows you to call the shots. You have 3 months and you feel like God I get it. 1 thing I noticed about new drivers is they think they dont have to pay their dues. Pay them and you'll be more lucrative. And never break contracts.
